#ToMyFutureHusband (hahaha)

First, I am laughing at the name of this blog because I am copying a buddy of mind that twitters ALL the time about his future wife, #ToMyFutureWife!

I recently wrote down some things I should/do pray about for my future husband and I. I hope this doesn't bore you and maybe sheds light on something you should pray for as well!

1. I pray you are a Godly man that is not afraid to show; not ashamed
2. Can go to church every Sunday/ Wednesdays even when I can't due to my work schedule.
3. Family oriented.... I LOVE LOVE LOVE have family/might as well be family social gatherings.
4. I pray you love to fly/travel. It's my way of life and there are so many places I've never been too that I want us to experience together.
5. I'm a busy girl- work for the airlines, sell Premier, AND volunteer at St. Jude; however, I ALWAYS find time for people I care about!
6. I'm a runner and I hope you'd want to come and cheer me on at my races or better yet run side by side.
7. Somedays I over analyze everything. single. thing and take things way too seriously, I hope you'll be overlook this and work with me through this.
8. Communication is the key to every successful and healthy relationship.
9. Love to watch sports and attend sporting events. I get FREE basketball tickets to the Grizzlies. :)
10. Support, support, support.....
11. Be sure each other's needs are taken care of
12. Patience- I pray for this every single day because I struggle with this.
13. Since I have a hectic schedule random surprises are always welcomed- come with me on a layover, be waiting for me when I land from a trip, etc.
14. Last BUT not LEAST- I pray that my future husband prays about me, us, and our future.

I have plenty more but I think I'll leave it at 14 for now. Hope you aren't bored to tears now, and will leave me some other wisdom-what makes or has made your marriage work that I might be missing.....

  1. I think this is a great "starter" list of things to pray for! Keep the bar set high and God will always exceed your expectations! He is so Good!
